Titleist AP 2 Blade Irons
The Titleist AP2 iron set comes in 3 – PW and a GW for a complete set of serious control irons that mid to low handicap players can appreciate. These irons have a tungsten nickel box with dual cavity so that the player experiences a muscle hit on the sweet spot and mid level players can enjoy a minimum of forgiveness in the cavity areas so they can improve rather than suffer the pains of a mishit without any cavity. The irons have forged carbon steel and an elastomer cushion. The cavity plate is aluminum and the grips are Tour Velvet Rubber grips for comfort on long days of playing.Titleist has a proud tradition on pro Tours for winning games. They have that because of the technology that goes into the clubs like the AP2 irons. The AP models replaced the old 695 and 735, 755, and 775. They have even better performance thanks to advancing knowledge and input from tour players who demand the aspects from an iron that will draw out the best in their games.
For some players the high-tech looks of the modern irons are off-putting. All it takes is one swing to know that you can't take looks for granted. These powerful clubs improve even the best of games. They work best for players in the single digit handicaps but players in the 10 point level should look to transfer to clubs like the Titelist AP2 irons so they can begin to adjust their approach and learn how to control their shots.

Looks are not everything but the Titleist 735 has looks and a whole lot more. They are appealing and have a minimal cavity back that allows for just enough forgiveness to make a mid handicap player feel comfortable. |
